What are emotions, what are they for?
Emotions are an internal navigation system and together with feelings and bodily sensations, they show us what is important to us and what must be attended to in a given circumstance.

If we learn to do the right thing with emotions, they can become tools that provide us with the energy we need to solve situations that require it.
Now, emotional balance is the ability to experience each emotion. An example of this can be: learn to ask for forgiveness, to set limits, to handle another rhythm of work or activities.
For this, it's fundamental to give ourselves more time for introspection, solitude and reflection, writing, crying and letting things go out of your system, alternating it with moments of significant company, with people who nurture us, comfort us and help us reflect what we can't see by ourselves, most times we need an external eye.
How are emotions and thoughts related?
We all get reality differently.
Remember that we all perceive the world through a filter formed by our senses and our interpretations, so the same event can give place to very different emotions according to each person's thoughts.
Picture the following situation:
You are walking down the street and someone stares at you with a frown. What would you think?
A. He'she has something against me
B. It's probably not with me
C. He seems angry, but I am stronger than him/her
The emotion that is generated from thoughts can be different in each person (fear, anger, surprise, annoyance, joy); this is how emotion and thought are intimately linked, if you have a negative interpretation of a situation, this can lead to unpleasant emotions and viceversa.
It is important to question the interpretations we make of reality to achieve constructive and objective thoughts.
THINK WELL,
FEEL WELL!
When you feel collapsed by some emotion (such as anger, frustration or fear) do the following breathing exercise.
